Our Regions
From the Harz to Tyrol: five regions, five Sonnenhotels.
Where to find us
Four hotels in Germany, one in Tyrol.

The Harz
Forested mountains, the Brocken and countless hiking trails: the Harz is northern Germany's favourite outdoor playground. On the edge of the woods in Bad Harzburg lies Das Ettershaus, with 14 treehouses up in the canopy. Our Bad Harzburg guide gathers tips for the Burgberg, the brine spa and the town centre.

The Bavarian Forest
Ancient woods, Lake Perlsee and the Trenck festival plays in Waldmünchen: family holidays are a long-standing tradition in the Bavarian Forest. Right at its heart: the Bayerischer Hof, with all-inclusive dining and the Sonnenwolfi kids' club.

The Ore Mountains
Schwarzenberg, the Fichtelberg and cross-country ski trails right outside the door: in every season, the Ore Mountains are an honest piece of nature, with less bustle than the Alps but just as beautiful. At 600 metres, Der Hohe Hahn awaits.

Franconia & the Mainschleife
Vineyards, Volkach and the river Main at its most beautiful bend: on the Mainschleife, everything revolves around wine and good living. The Weingut Römmert winery has been pressing wine here since 1917, complete with its own vinotheque and cellar tours.

Tyrol & the Seefeld Olympic Region
At 1,200 metres, between the Karwendel and Wetterstein ranges: Seefeld is Tyrol's sunny plateau, with 245 km of cross-country trails and five ski areas. Right on the village square you will find the Post Seefeld, with its 2,500 m² panorama spa.
