In the heart of the Harz Nature Park, between beech and spruce trees, lies a resort made for families. 14 treehouses up in the canopy, a pool heated to 30 degrees, three restaurants and hiking trails right outside the door. The 14 treehouses nestled in the canopy are the highlight. The Oktagon treehouse has floor-to-ceiling windows and its own terrace above the forest. The main house also offers comfort studios, superior suites and spa suites. Each category has a character of its own.
Restaurant & Bar
Three dining spots under one roof. Taut's serves regional cuisine made with produce from the Harz. The Ursprung offers hearty, down-to-earth dishes in a rustic setting. Bar Hoffmann is the place to meet in the evening, with cocktails and views of the forest. The breakfast buffet has a pancake machine.
Wellness & Spa
The pool is 16 metres long and heated to 30 degrees. Indoors and out. The sauna area offers a Finnish sauna, a soft sauna and a steam bath, plus relaxation rooms, loungers with forest views and a beauty studio. A few laps before breakfast? Here, that is easy.
The Harz
Bad Harzburg is 5 minutes away. The treetop walk is one kilometre from the hotel. 8,000 kilometres of hiking trails criss-cross the Harz National Park. In winter, there are cross-country ski trails and sledging. The Brocken makes a perfect day trip.
